GoPlum.com Tutorial: Changing Your ResolutionFor Windows 95/98 PC's:
Some computers come with adjustments that you use to change the settings of your monitor. Some older computers do not have this option :o( If you want more screen area to work with, you can change the screen resolution, which will in effect make everything smaller, but their will be more area on the screen. The best thing to do is to try the different settings and see how they feel to you. For a 15 inch monitor, an 800x600 resolution is quite comfortable to work with. If you have a larger monitor, a setting of 1024x768, may work better for you. Either way, you can always change them back to your original settings.

In the "display area" (circled in red) slide the bar, until you see 640 x 680, 800 x 600, or 1024 x 768. Select the setting you want to try. (Remember, the purpose of this tutorial is to change your settings for the most widely used resolution of 800 x 600) Click on "apply" and follow the direction prompts on your screen.Don't forget! You can always change back if you decide you don't like it
